SBI PO 2020 Exam Pattern
SBI PO follows a three tier recruitment process namely: Prelims, Mains and Interview. Prelims is a qualifying exam and its marks are not consider in the final merit list. Marks of Mains and Interview forms the final merit list. the ratio in which the final merit list is prepared from mains and interview is 75:25.
SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern
- The exam will be of one hour
- A total of 100 questions will be asked.
- Negative marking is there (1/4th).
- Sectional timing of 20 minutes is there.

SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern
- This is a three hour paper.
- It has four sections and each section has sectional timing.
- There is a provision of negative marking of one-fourth mark for every wrong answer marked by the student.
- Based on the performance of a student in mains examination, final merit list is prepared.

Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test is also a part of mains examination. It is usually of 30 minutes duration with 50 marks. Students are expected to write a letter and an essay. Students can score a great marks in this section and can take a great lead.
